With a traditional but simple design, rich colours and a bright, airy conservatory overlooking our peaceful garden, which even grows the plant after which the restaurant is named. Cardoon is certainly not in the style of a conventional hotel restaurant.

Our Head Chef, Phil Yates and his team prepare a wide choice of food from simple, light dishes such as Parma ham and asparagus bruchetta with a tarragon butter sauce to modern Scottish dishes such as Canon of lamb with an Arran mustard and pine kernel crust and minted baby pear soufflé potato.

Cardoon has received an Automobile Association rosette for food and service quality.

Cardoon is also ideal for private parties or celebrations in Dunfermline. The restaurant has easy external access for disabled customers and is completely non-smoking.
