Gourmet Wine Dinner: 30th December 2008
Once you have checked in a traditional afternoon tea awaits you. Take the afternoon to un-pack, relax in the lounge area with fellow residents or spend some time in the Picture of Health Leisure Club. Early evening, enjoy a welcome glass of Champagne with General Manager Alistair Bruce and his team as they welcome you to Best Western Keavil House Hotel. Once you have met the team our kitchen brigade will have prepared a fantastic 4 course gourmet 'Taste of Scotland' menu, with each course matched with a selected wine from our cellars and our wine supplier will provide you with an introduction to each wine and dish.
Hogmanay: 31st December 2008
Enjoy a full Scottish breakfast, relax and spend some leisure time in the Picture of Health Club or visit Edinburgh's Hogmanay festival or the hidden attractions of Dunfermline the "old capital" of Scotland. Join Alistair Bruce and his team for a welcome Scottish cocktail drinks and canapé reception, whilst the kitchen prepare a sumptuous 4 course dinner for you to enjoy before an evening of traditional ceilidh and Highland piper take you into 2009 in true Scottish style.
Hogmanay Breaks
New Years Day: 1st January 2009
A leisurely brunch awaits you in Cardoon Restaurant, served with plenty of fruit juice and bucks fizz. Take the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing day after those hectic Hogmanay celebrations, make use of the leisure club facilities or simply relax in our lounge. You could also enjoy a leisurely walk around the grounds and surrounding area, before returning back to the hotel to warm up with a glass of wine. In the evening, get the year off to a galloping start as we entertain you with a 'Charity Night' and gourmet buffet. You will have the chance to bet on some races whilst raising money for charity as well as the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes.
