Phil Yates is Head Chef of Keavil House Hotel and manages the kitchen team of our Botanist Restaurant.
Phil brings a wealth of experience to the cooking at Keavil House Hotel and has been serving up award winning dishes for over 20 years. Phil cooks with fresh local produce from Fife and Scotland and believes few places have a better natural larder than the farms, hills, seas and rivers of Scotland.
Our restaurant menus are inspired by Phil’s belief that when dining out you should experience food that you don’t cook in your own home and that you should leave feeling satisfied and surprised.

Our menus change regularly every week and always offer a carefully chosen selection of Scottish seasonal dishes in addition to classic grills and the very best aged steaks. We offer everything from the best gourmet burgers to classic dishes and our Sunday lunch menu always offers a traditional roast.

kitchen team have created our new restaurant quality
We have a weekly changing menu of starters, mains and desserts for you to take away and finish at home. Our two
or three course menu includes full preparation instructions and all dishes can be prepared and cooked in under 15
minutes. Enjoy restaurant quality food in the comfort of your own home.
